ON-CHAIN ANALYSIS
ETF Mania: Bitcoin Bags Billions, But Alt-Coin Upstarts Hog The Hype 📈
Bitcoin spot ETFs inhaled $6B in July, then coughed up an $812M hairball on the first trading day of August last week when Powell’s hawks circled. 😎
Quick Body Count (past 30 days)
BTC ETFs - +$5.6B net; AUM now $152B; fifteen-week inflow streak snapped, whales unfazed.
ETH ETFs - +$5.5B; twenty-day inflow streak, AUM doubled to $21B while price ripped 60 %.
XRP ETFs - +$0.3B (half into Teucrium’s 2x fund alone); price up 70%; leveraged degens barking “$8B first-year” like it’s pocket change.
SOL ETFs - +$0.07B U.S. ($450M-ish global); first U.S. staking-yield fund hit $100 M AUM in twelve sessions, proving nobody reads fee tables.
TL;DR
Dollar gravity still points to BTC + ETH - institutional cash loves liquidity.
Alt ETFs own the headlines: Polymarket odds put SOL approval at 99 %, XRP at 86 %, and journalists can’t resist “first-ever” taglines.
Early-August outflows were a speed bump - year-to-date crypto ETF inflows sit above $27B, so the bull’s diet remains carb-loaded.
Alt ETFs win the hype trophy, BTC Ð keep the asset-gathering crown. Excitement’s louder for the newcomers, but the checkbooks remain heavier for the incumbents. 👑

C2 Blockchain Leads the Meme Asset Era with DOG Coin Treasury
C2 Blockchain Inc. (OTC: $CBLO) has made history as the first publicly traded company to add a meme coin - DOG Coin ($DOG) - to its corporate treasury. Now holding over 144 million DOG, CBLO is pioneering a new era where culture and capital converge. DOG Coin isn’t just another meme token - it is the first widely adopted meme coin built directly on the Bitcoin blockchain, using the emerging BRC-20 and Ordinals protocols. With verifiable scarcity, Bitcoin-grade security, and a rapidly growing community, DOG represents a new class of meme-driven digital assets. As DOG gains traction and value, CBLO may benefit through appreciation of its treasury holdings - offering shareholders unique exposure to this rising Bitcoin-native trend.

DeFi’s Worst Duo: Phantom Money Meets Deepfake Bandits 👻
Another Monday, another $4.5 million evaporates from a DeFi project because an admin thought unlimited-mint privileges were a cute idea. 🙄
CrediX: 10,000% Yields, 0% Common Sense
CrediX bragged about five-figure APYs, yet one compromised admin role let an attacker print unbacked stablecoins, yank real collateral, and bridge the loot from Sonic to Ethereum.
The “aggregator” yanked its site, begged X for patience, and vowed full reimbursement inside 48 hours. Six days before the heist, the attacker’s wallet gained god-mode permissions, a detail auditors somehow missed.
Users hunting withdrawals are now refreshing a 404 page while regulators dust off that “too good to be true” speech. 🗨️
AI Swindles: Because Phishing Emails Were Getting Boring
While CrediX hemorrhaged cash, scammers armed with ChatGPT knockoffs and deepfake voice apps lifted $2 million from a Fei Protocol dev’s buddy: an audio clone of Plasma’s founder pitched a fake advisory gig, slipped a malware file past antivirus, and vacuumed private keys in minutes.
After that, researchers flagged a so-called “NPM Registry Cache Manager” that actually shipped an “ENHANCED STEALTH WALLET DRAINER.” The package went live on July 28, racked up 1,500-plus downloads, and only got slapped with a warning two days later.
Red-teamers poked 44 leading AI agents with 1.8 million prompt-injection attacks and still landed more than 60,000 successful breaches; one model even claimed innocence while happily exfiltrating emails.
Success rate: 1.5%. Low, but when the haul is private keys, that math still prints money. 🤖

🤖 AgentaNet Wants AI Agents to Swarm Like Ants Instead of Sulking Solo
Get ready for robo-collabs that out-organize your group chat. Flock’s new paper pitches a decentralized network where bots discover, verify, and gossip their skills before teaming up on tasks. Trustworthy profiling, encrypted chatter, and token-powered incentives replace the current “one LLM to rule them all” vibe. Flock.io.
🌊 Ocean Nodes Tap Idle GPUs Everywhere and Tell Cloud Bills to Take a Hike
The protocol shards AI workloads across spare laptops and data centers, keeping data local while dodging the compute efficiency wall. Techniques like hybrid parallelism and edge split-computing turn your smart toaster into part-time silicon. Ocean Protocol.
💵 Hyperliquid Scores Native USDC so Traders Can Stop Playing Stablecoin Hot Potato
Hyperliquid handing out duct-free dollars. Circle is dropping fully reserved USDC and CCTP V2 onto HyperEVM, letting users zip dollars in and out with 1:1 efficiency. That means perps collateral, on-chain treasury ops, and cross-chain swaps minus the wrapped-token eye roll. Circle.
🔐 Cardano Rolls Out AI-Aided Security Tools so Devs Stop YOLO-Deploying Multi-Million Scripts
IOE’s new suite blends automated formal proofs, property testing, static analysis, and live transaction monitoring into one happy pipeline. Plain-language prompts spit out Lean4 specs while SMT solvers hunt for logic bombs. Translation: you can ship smarter contracts without a PhD in theorem proving or a panic button for exploits. Real World Asset Tokenization (RWA) News 🪙
🏛️ Validators, Escrow, and Reactive Contracts Aim to Stop RWA Traders From Getting Catfished
Tokenized assets sound sexy until someone discovers the warehouse is empty, so this blueprint layers expert validators, on-chain escrow, and dispute DAOs onto secondary markets. Reactive contracts then fire actions only after off-chain inspections pass, welding real-world events to blockchain settlements. In other words, the next rug will need an appraisal, a mediator, and a PhD in reactive scripting before it can steal your token. Reactive Network.
📡 Helium Migrated to Solana, Minted Cheap cNFT Hotspots, and Now Charges a Whopping $0.07 a Year
With 400K active hotspots pushing 576 TB last quarter, Helium dumped its home-grown chain for Solana’s 1,600 TPS and sub-penny fees. Lazy-claim rewards, ECC hardware keys, and proof-of-coverage witness squads stomped spoofers while compressed NFTs cut onboarding costs a thousandfold. Solana.

📈 Aave Graduates to DeFi’s SOFR Because Everyone Else Is Too Small to Matter
Aave is officially the benchmark. With roughly half of on-chain lending and $58 B in deposits, a $100 M move barely nudges its rates 20 bps while rivals whipsaw. CoinDesk Overnight Rates and assorted stablecoin projects already treat Aave yields as gospel. Aave.

💸 Aptos Waves $150K Carrot for Payments Apps That Actually Use Its 125ms Blocks
If you still think “cheap remittance” is just a blog buzzword, Aptos basically dared you to code or shut up. Aptos opened a milestone-based Payments Grant dangling up to $150,000 plus gas credits for founders who can turn its sub-second finality into something users touch. The pitch leans on $1.41B in stablecoins, 19K TPS peaks, and $30B monthly volumes as proof the rails are greased. Aptos.
🔥 Shannon Turns $POKT Into a Burn-Powered Deflation Machine Instead of an Infinite Participation Trophy
Pocket’s upgrade swaps inflationary staking for pay-as-you-burn compute units, minting tokens only when equivalent POKT goes up in smoke. Add Cosmos SDK migration, gateway rebates, and data services for AI and social feeds, and the network just cut relay costs to about $2.50 per million while opening IBC doors. Pocket Network.
💥 eCash Marks Four Years, Lands on BitMart, and Flexes a $2M DEX Volume While You Weren’t Looking
July brought eCash Day festivities, fresh XEC listings, and Chronik upgrades that finally play nice with ElectrumX. The ecosystem fired up BlitzChips betting, TixTown Emmy ticketing, and charts.e.cash analytics while staking hit 276 B XEC across 91 nodes. Not bad for a project critics wrote off back when rebrands were still cool. eCash.
