The Rally Needed A Breather, Not A Eulogy 🪦
Prices outran their baseline and the gap got silly. Mean reversion by price or time is on deck, so momentum junkies can hydrate and chill.
OVERVIEW
Crypto Needed A Breather, Not A Eulogy 🪦

Before we dive in, here’s today’s crypto market heatmap:
And here’s a look at crypto’s total market and altcoin market cap charts:
TECHNICAL ANALYSIS
ETH’s Stalling Act Has An Ichimoku Explanation ☁️
While this is about Ethereum’s price action and chart, pretty much any crypto that has a weekly chart similar to Ethereum’s (of which there are many) can apply this article to their respective ticker. 🧠
One technical reason for ETH's stall has to do with a behavior in the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo system. In the screenshot, you'll see a shaded in gray area. That represents the gaps between the Tenkan-Sen/Conversion Line and the body(s) of the candlestick(s).
The candlestick body and the Tenkan-Sen are like an unhealthy co-dependent couple, they're happiest when they're miserable together, but every once and while they go apeshit and run away from each other, but that gap doesn't last long.
This disequilibrium is short lived and most often corrects when prices move back to the Tenkan-Sen. The other form of equilibrium reestablishing is time based - that's when price stays in a range while the Tenkan-Sen slowly moves back towards the candlestick bodies.
TL;DR version: large gaps between the Tenkan-Sen and candlestick bodies is a sign that things are a little overdone and may pause or retrace within the next three to four candles. 🔄

When Strikes Are Homeruns ⚾️
Strike Finance is Cardano’s biggest perpetuals protocol and it pulled off one hell of a big win yesterday. 🥇
Hello our name is strike finance and we made $84,000 yesterday.
This is top 40 globally, outpacing top projects in the world such as Suilend, dYdX, Orca, and Pendle.
That’s 40% of PancakeSwap’s revenue and 30% of Uniswap’s.
Top 20 globally coming soon.

$84k in 24hr revenue was 30% of UNI’s and 40% of CAKE’s. That’s a pretty damn big deal. An even bigger deal?
Strike is/was 77% of Cardano’s trading volume. What I find stupidly crazy about this isn’t just the high volume of ADA’s total trading, or the comparative big chunks compared to yugemongous DEX’s like Uniswap and Pancakeswap, it’s this:
Strike’s perpetuals are currently limited to just two crypto assets:
ADA and SNEK. That’s just nuts. 😱
NEWS
DJT, Crypto.com, and YORK Spin Up a $6.42B CRO Treasury Play 😱
If you’re wondering why CRO went absolutely bat shit crazy today, here’s why 🧠 :
Trump Media, Crypto.com, and SPAC Yorkville are forming Trump Media Group CRO Strategy via a merger with Yorkville Acquisition Corp. The funding stack:
$1B worth of CRO tokens, 6.313B coins by their math
plus $200M cash,
$220M in mandatory-exercise warrants
$5B equity line from Yorkville’s YA II PN.
Yorkville will switch its ticker to MCGA before the deal closes and founding holders take a 1-year lockup, then a 3-year drip release.
What They Say They’ll Do With It
Run a CRO treasury, spin up a validator, delegate stake, and auto-compound rewards to grow the pile. It’s the “ditch dead cash, hold native tokens, earn yield and influence governance” playbook, now with a SPAC wrapper and a branding iron.
If everything pans out, this becomes the first large, publicly traded CRO treasury with a war chest sized to move an ecosystem. It also tightens the DJT–Crypto.com alignment that’s been ramping all year, and it throws another log on the “corporate digital asset treasury” fire. 🔥

Qubic Keeps Poking Monero With 9-Block Reorgs
Here’s another great piece from those fine folks at Protos. 🧠
Qubic’s short bursts of hashrate let them fire off repeated 9-block reorganizations on Monero, then stop right before the 10-block line where double-spend risk gets real.
Qubic previously chest-thumped about “51% control” using selfish-mining tricks. The new routine is cleaner and more surgical.
Founder Sergey “CFB” Ivancheglo says they’re self-limiting to 9 blocks to avoid exchange double-spends . Responsible arson, if you like irony.
🚨A THIRD 9 block reorg has just hit Monero. Qubic mined 19 blocks + 1 orphan in a row

Reorg, in plain English: Two versions of the chain can exist for a minute. Miners pick a winner, the loser gets tossed, and any transactions that only lived on the loser chain disappear. 😨
If Qubic sustains higher share or coordination improves, that 9 can become 10+, and then the double-spend talk stops being theoretical. Qubic is basically gaming the rulebook and daring the refs to update it.
Monero either hardens the fence or keeps trusting that a fox will stay on a diet. Source: Protos.
Also, I don’t often recommend other crypto news outlets, but Protos should be on your favorites list. No this isn’t a paid pump or a quid-pro-quo. It’s just my honest read: they’re A+. 👍️

Real World Asset Tokenization (RWA) News 🪙
📊 RWA Adoption Isn’t About TVL, It’s About Actual People
TVL makes for nice charts, but one whale wallet can fake “adoption” all by itself. Holders, on the other hand, are wallets with skin in the game - people actually using RWAs instead of just parking them. Plume gets this, which is why they’ve tripled the global RWA holder count to 367K in 90 days and left Ethereum and Solana looking like understudies. Plume Network.
🌉 LayerZero Buys Stargate & Goes From Bridges To Full Banks
The bridge that moved $65B+ is about to start handling swaps, vaults, and maybe your mortgage. LayerZero just acquired Stargate after a 95% DAO approval, turning the omnichain liquidity hub into a full-on financial stack. STG holders can swap to ZRO, and stakers are promised revenue share perks. LayerZero.
🌐 Cosmos Is Quietly Becoming Wall Street’s Favorite Blockchain
When finance finally migrates onchain, it’s not happening on your favorite memecoin chain - it’s happening on Cosmos.Stablecoins are at $250B, tokenized treasuries hit $5.6B, and banks like Deutsche and Goldman are already onboarding. Figure’s IPO, Ondo’s tokenized ETFs, Lombard’s $1B BTC staking, and ZIGChain’s retail equities play all run on Cosmos tech. Cosmos.

⚔️ Ronin Lets Builders Earn Actual Revenue
Ronin’s new Builder Revenue Share Program pays devs in RON, AXS, or USDC when their referred users mint NFTs, trade, or swap. Weekly payouts show up in the dev console with all the fun stats - active wallets, traded volume, commissions. It’s basically an affiliate program for blockchain, only instead of protein powder links you’re shilling wallets and swaps. Ronin Network.

DeFi, DEX, & Lending News 🏦
🔄 1inch Keeps DeFi Saver From Becoming DeFi Stumbler
DeFi Saver plugged in the 1inch Swap API to keep its Boost & Repay feature from choking on bad routing. The API now meta-aggregates aggregators (yes, that’s a thing) to simulate swaps in real time and skip invalid routes during volatility. The result: $1.1B routed through 1inch in three years and users who can finally go on vacation without babysitting their leverage. 1inch.
🪙 Units.Network Gets DIA Oracles So DeFi Isn’t Flying Blind
Units.Network is integrating DIA’s oracles to give its dApps reliable real-world data feeds. Lending protocols like Unilend will ditch their old oracle setups for DIA’s first-party data collection straight from 100+ exchanges. TL;DR: dApps on Units can finally price assets with data you can actually audit, not mystery meat from black-box feeds. Waves.

Protocol News 🏦
🐕 LEASH v2 Migration: Holders Whole, Sellers Not So Lucky
LEASH v1’s endless rebases turned the token into a math problem nobody wanted, so the devs are migrating to v2 with a ratio-based system. If you held through, you’re made whole; if you sold, you get proportionally less; if you dumped everything, you’re out - simple as that. Exchanges are dragging their feet, but the team’s got a “no mint” design and audits lined up so nobody cries foul this time (like that’ll happen). Shiba Inu.
📜 LTO Pulls The Plug, Moves Anchoring To Base
LTO’s Layer 1 is dead - too small, too centralized, too fragile - so EQTY is migrating to Base with a new $EQTY token. Anchoring now burns $EQTY per transaction, governance controls fees, and everything plugs into standard Ethereum wallets. Think of it like upgrading from storing important contracts in a leaky garden shed to a bank vault. LTO Network.
