Robinhood Only Wants 25% Of Your Rewards To Stake Through Them 😢

And here’s a look at crypto’s total market and altcoin market cap charts:

Don’t Liquidate Me Bro Update 😈
James Wynn just slammed $1.27 million into a fresh 40× short the instant Bitcoin kissed $112 k, daring Hyperliquid to vaporize him at $112 ,360.😈
It’s been a little over a month since we’ve last looked at these shenanigans
May 28 - Wynn bragged about a $30M position, then Lookonchain showed the whole thing torching faster than his credibility.
June 2 - Genius turned victim. Claimed “THE CABAL” hunted him, begged followers to buy so his 40× long wouldn’t flat-line.
June 3 & 4 - Daily live-tweet meltdown. USDC begging bowl out, “USDC PLEASE IF YOU WANNA SUPPORT THE CAUSE.” 🙄
Same Play, New Numbers
This morning, on-chain analytics firm Lookonchain’s official X account gave everyone an update on one of crypto’s biggest riches to rags latest escapades:
James Wynn(@JamesWynnReal) is back again!
He deposited 27,522 $USDC into Hyperliquid and claimed a $3,960.84 referral reward 2 hours ago… then went all in with a 40x leveraged $BTC short.
Current position: 11.45 $BTC($1.27M)
Liquidation price: $112,360

New short = 11.45 BTC with max juice.
Liquidation line = $112,360. One hiccup north and….
… well, as I’m writing this (roughly 1150 EST), BTC hit the $112,360 and a new all-time high, and has kept moving higher.
Now, $1.27M (11.45 BTC) wiped out is a yuge sum of money. But remember, it’s a 40x leveraged position, so he only lost his $27.5k. Which is peanuts compared to the millions he’s thrown around.
As of this afternoon, no update on Wynn’s X account. Drama not over yet. 🤷

TECHNICAL ANALYSIS
Bitcoin’s Most Important Trendline Is Getting Tested, Again 📈
Click on the screenshot below and observe that orange trendline. 👇️
That orange trendline is Bitcoin’s dominant interior trendline - the most important trendline currently available. And it’s where BTC is currently banging its head against to breakout higher.
If you’ve been a reader of the Litepaper for a couple years, then you’ve seen this before. If you’re new, awesome (and welcome!), to show we’ve been looking at this trendline for a while - and how important is has been, let’s take a little walk through history.
We’ve been looking at this trendline since April 2, 2024.
Then we looked at it again on April 17,2024
And again on May 1, 2024
Then July 3, 2024
November 8, 2024
December 24, 2024
And as we transitioned into 2025, that trendline was again highlighted on January 17, 2025
February 6, 2025
February 25, 2025
March 24, 2025
May 6, 2025
May 9, 2025
May 23, 2025
And that brings us to the last time, before today, that we looked at it, June 5, 2025
The point of this wall of charts is this: Strip away the noise and stare at the line. For more than a year it’s pulled Bitcoin like gravity, pinning every little rally and dump to its orbit.
Keep it on your screen. 💻️

Robinhood Only Wants 25% Of Your Rewards To Stake Through Them 😢
A little before noon, the cryptoverse was alerted to this post from $HOOD ( ▲ 4.4% )’s official X account:
Staking is now available for U.S. customers.
Stake ETH and SOL on Robinhood Crypto with as little as $1 of crypto.
— Robinhood (@RobinhoodApp)
3:58 PM • Jul 10, 2025
Hooray for adoption, but boooooooo for the fee.
How much of your staking rewards does Robinhood get? Starting October 1, 2025, you’ll be ponying up 25% of all your staking rewards to Robinhood.
In you’re in the EU, congrats. It’s only 15%.
What The Other Guys Charge 🤔
How does 25% stack up against other platforms? Somewhere between payday-loan pricing and highway-bloodsucker-robbery. Let’s look:
Robinhood
Fee: 25 % of every reward starting Oct 1 2025
EU users get the discount: 15% cut on the same ETH and SOL lineup
Kraken
Fee: Bonded staking tiers start at 26% for minnows, drop to 10% when your stack hits the six-figure range per asset
Flexible staking jumped to 30% just before the 4th of July (2025)
Coinbase
Fee: 25% commission on ETH; 35% on ADA, SOL, ATOM, DOT, and others
Spring for Coinbase One ($29.99/mo) and that 35% shrinks to 26.3%, nothing says ‘happiness’ like paying for the privilege to be fleeced for less
Gemini
Fee: 15 % across ETH, SOL, MATIC, etc.
No minimums for we regular people
Binance (global)
Fee: Roughly 10 % on mainstream coins, often lower during promo windows
Surprise flash deals sometimes zero out fees on locked products-watch the announcements
Does 25% sound high? That depends.
Whether or not the convenience of staking through an app is worth a quarter of your earnings is up to you. 🫵
