TECHNICAL ANALYSIS
Technically Speaking 🎉
Four altcoins are catching my eye right now, all with a killer combo: intriguing technical setups and seriously oversold on-chain metrics. 🏎️
But here’s the kicker—Stocktwits Sentiment and/or Message Volume are ticking up, signaling rising interest and a positive outlook. Translation: these might be gearing up for a move.
MVRV Ratio: Think of the MVRV Ratio as a reality check for crypto valuations. It compares what the market thinks a coin is worth (market value) to what people actually paid for it (realized value). If the ratio’s above 1, the market might be getting a bit too excited. Below 1? Could be a bargain.
Stocktwits Sentiment Score: The Stocktwits Sentiment Score cuts through the noise to tell you if the crowd’s feeling bullish or bearish. It’s a quick read on whether traders are loving or hating a stock or crypto, based on their posts.
Stocktwits Message Volume: The Message Volume on Stocktwits is like the pulse of the market. When the chatter spikes, it means everyone’s got something to say about that stock or coin—usually a sign something big’s going down. 🤘
Cardano
$ADA is bumping up against its 20-day EMA, but it’s not breaking through. 👊
Sentiment has taken a sharp turn—from last week’s pessimistic 43 to a more hopeful 63. People are feeling better about this one, but here’s the kicker: no one’s really talking about it. Low message volume suggests that while the sentiment is bullish, it's flying under the radar.
Now, look at that MVRV 90-day at -11.47%. This tells us the asset’s undervalued—most folks who bought in the last 90 days are in the red. That screams opportunity if sentiment keeps shifting positive.
Bottom line: If Cardano closes above the 20-day, and chatter starts picking up, it could run. But for now, it’s one to watch closely—it could be a sleeper hit.
Chainlink
$LINK has been testing its trendline for the past week but just can’t seem to break out. To make things tougher, the 20-day EMA is sitting above as resistance, adding an extra layer of difficulty. ⛓️
Sentiment has turned bullish, jumping from a 46 to a more confident 61. But, with a message volume of 46, the market's not exactly buzzing—just a step above the low activity from a week ago.
The 90-day MVRV at -20.57% is the real eye-opener here. It’s deeply undervalued, with most buyers in the last three months sitting on losses. That kind of undervaluation could set the stage for a strong rebound if it can finally break out.
In a nutshell: With the MVRV showing serious undervaluation, there’s potential for a big move if it can clear that resistance. But until then, it’s a waiting game.
Dogecoin
$DOGE is still hanging out inside a multi-month bull flag, which is usually a good sign, but it’s got the 20-day EMA acting as resistance, keeping it from making any serious moves. 🐶
The 90-day MVRV at -16.18% shows it’s undervalued—plenty of folks who bought in the last three months are underwater.
Sentiment’s been creeping up from bearish at 43 last week to a neutral 49 now. It’s not exactly bullish, but it’s headed in the right direction. Message volume has ticked up slightly, too, from 46 to 52.
In short: The asset’s sitting inside a bullish pattern but can’t break out yet with that 20-day EMA in the way. The market’s starting to warm up to it, but it’s not quite there yet. With that undervaluation from the MVRV, it’s got potential if sentiment keeps improving and it can push past resistance. For now, it’s one to keep on the radar.
Shiba Inu
Just like ADA, DOGE, and LINK, $SHIB is banging its head against the 20-day EMA. It's stuck there, not making any headway. 🗣️
The 90-day MVRV is at a steep -27.75%, telling us it's seriously undervalued, which could set the stage for a decent rebound if conditions change.
But here’s the kicker—sentiment is flatlined at 50. The message volume is sitting at 45, which is normal and slightly up from last week's low of 39. People are talking about it, but not enough to indicate any major movement in sentiment.
In short: It’s undervalued, sure, but without a shift in sentiment or a break above resistance, it's likely to keep treading water for now. But when Shiba moves - it MOVES FAST. Definitely something to keep an eye on.
