It’s a somber day for the Dogecoin and broader memecoin community. The original Shiba Inu, Kabosu, died at 18 years young today according to the owner. 😭 

In today’s Litepaper, we’re looking at Kabosu’s impact on crypto and a “Technically Speaking” of Ethereum, Injective Protocol, and Chainlink.

Kabosu, the Beloved Doge Meme Dog, Dies at 18 🥹 

Much sad for $DOGE community. Kabosu, the internet-famous Shiba Inu who became the face of the beloved "doge" meme and inspired the cryptocurrency Dogecoin, has passed away at the age of 18. 😢 

Kabosu's journey to internet stardom began in 2008 when Sato adopted her from a shelter. In February 2010, Sato posted a photo of Kabosu with folded paws and a quizzical expression on her blog.

This image quickly spread across forums like Reddit, sparking the creation of countless "doge" memes featuring humorous captions in broken English, like "such wow" and "much amaze."

The meme’s popularity soared in December 2013 when Kabosu's face became the symbol of Dogecoin. Even Elon Musk became a fan, famously polling his followers on whether $TSLA should accept Dogecoin as payment.

Wow. Much love, very missed. 🐾 

TECHNICAL ANALYSIS
Technically Speaking 🎉

Let’s take a look at some charts and see where we’re sitting on some longer time frames. ⌛️ 

Ethereum’s monthly candlestick still has a month left. If it closes above $3,700, it will confirm a Bullish Engulfing candlestick, one of the strongest bullish patterns. This would also mark the highest monthly close in $ETH’s history.

Chainlink’s monthly chart shows bulls have recovered the majority of April’s losses, and it’s first historical oversold level in the RSI has so far held. The $19.50 continues to be a level $LINK bulls struggle to move and remain above.

Injective Protocol was 2023’s best performer. That hasn’t been the case for 2024. However, the RSI shows a slight move higher. And while the weekly candlestick looks ugly, it’s more a reflection of the post ETH ETF shenanigans playing out.

The thing for $INJ to accomplish is a weekly close above the trendline. Bulls, cross your fingers. 👆️

SOL and XRP ETFs on the Horizon? Standard Chartered Thinks So 🏦

Standard Chartered predicts ETFs for Solana ($SOL) and Ripple ($XRP) could hit the market as early as 2025. 🚀 

Standard Chartered’s Geffrey Kendrick expects SOL and XRP ETFs to attract significant investment. The bank’s optimism isn’t just based on gut feeling—it follows the trend of growing institutional interest in crypto assets.

Excited yet? Hold your horses. There are still regulatory hoops to jump through. The success of $BTC and $ETH ETFs has set a high bar, and each new asset will face its own scrutiny. But if SOL and XRP ETFs get the green light by 2025, it would mark a major milestone in crypto’s march toward mainstream adoption.

Why SOL and XRP?

Not a ton of explanation was given on why XRP or SOL specifically would likely be next. XRP has been scrutinized and analyzed more by regulatory agencies than any other cryptocurrency, so there’s that. And Solana’s been groomed by TradFi media as the ‘next’ Ethereum.

PIXELVERSE 10 Million Token Airdrop Soon, I Played The Demo 🕹️ 

Before I dive into the nitty-gritty, I tried the demo so you don’t have to - or if you want to, you can here. Things I noticed:

1. The music that plays on repeat is awesome. It’s an 80’s-ish synth beat to the Pixies’ Where Is My Mind.

2. If you’re a fan of the OG Nintendo Final Fantasy pixel art merged with cyber-punk themes and styles, you’ll like the atmosphere.

3. You can play the demo, but there’s not tutorial at all, no fucking directions to do anything. To save you a headache, the first dude you have to talk to after leaving your home is here:

Pixelverse is a quest-based battler game that plunges players into the dystopian streets of Xenon. Here’s what you can expect:

• Quest-Based Adventure: Players take on the roles of freelancers, navigating a world filled with narrative-driven quests.

• PvE Battles: Engage in player versus environment (PvE) battles where strategy and skill determine your success. Defeat various enemies to progress through the game and collect rare items.

• Risk to Earn: Allows players to stake tokens on their performance in battles. If you win, you claim all the staked tokens, adding a high-stakes element to the game.

• Bot Crafting and Enhancement: Collect rare items throughout your quests to craft and enhance bots. These bots are essential for achieving supremacy in the arena battles.

• On-Chain Assets: All in-game assets, including freelancers and bots, are stored on-chain as NFTs via Pixelverse's SDK and Pixelchain infrastructure.

• Customization and Ownership: The game allows extensive customization of characters and bots, making each player's journey unique. All assets are NFTs, meaning players truly own their in-game items and can trade them on secondary markets.

Additionally, there will be a 10 million $PIXFI token airdrop in June to incentivize early engagement and reward battles. 🥊
